After Hours 

a hungry night hunts

graffiti–wind
shifting light–emptied streets

the terrors are out…

an off-handed joke
a misunderstanding
a gun, a knife–
closer than reason

a stagger, a stumble–
funny…
with enough alcohol,
whatever your feet may do–
passes for dancing
