What is your favorite line from your piece featured in The Ginger Collect?
“We thought that if we were nice, you’d be inclined to have a nice conversation, maybe explain why people across the planet are dropping dead like month old houseflies.”
Who is your most beloved author?
Katrina Kittle. I love all of her adult fiction, but my favorite is The Kindness of Strangers.
Do you have a favorite quote from this author?
From The Kindness of Strangers: “They didn’t speak a word, but it was still their best conversation in a long time.”
What inspired your piece?
Current world events and the ever-present fear of nuclear war. I think Dan Brown’s book Inferno also made me consider unconventional approaches to serious world problems.
