What is your favorite line from your piece featured in The Ginger Collect?
There’s not a cool way to deal with a pissed bed.
Who is your most beloved author?
So many, but lately I’d say Khaled Hosseini. “The Kite Runner” stayed with me for a long time. Still think about it. I can relate to the theme of redemption, I’ve been chasing it for years.
Do you have a favorite quote from this author?
“I wondered if that was how forgiveness budded; not with the fanfare of epiphany, but with pain gathering its things, packing up, and slipping away unannounced in the middle of the night.”
What inspired your piece?
I lived it and overcame it somehow. I’ve never mentioned what happened in his story to anyone until now.
